Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and He shall divide the spoil with the strong; because He has poured out his soul unto death: and He was numbered with the transgressors; and He bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

Therefore, O Palestine, it was said by him to your fathers: For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, And He was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things concerning me have an end.

And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left.  Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And later:  Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit.

Know your High Priest…  Therefore, O Palestine, whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.  Yes, O remnant of Canaan, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among your fathers by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of your fathers, and as you have heard, this Christ, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, your fathers took, and by wicked hands had him crucified and slain.  Him did God raise up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that He should be held by it.

For David spoke concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for He is on my right hand, that I should not be moved: therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope: because thou wilt not leave my soul in Hell, neither will thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with the countenance.

Palestine, let me speak freely to you of your patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.  Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne; he, seeing this before spoke of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in Hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.

This Jesus did God raise up; therefore being at the Right Hand of God, exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He has shed forth his Spirit for all the remnant of Israel/Palestine to receive.

For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he said himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my Right Hand, until I make thy foes thy footstool.

Therefore, let all the House of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom your fathers crucified, both Lord and Christ, and High Priest.

Yes, God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spoke in time past unto your fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, by whom also He made the worlds; who, being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when He had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the Right Hand of the Majesty on High.

Being made so much better than the angels, as He has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.  For unto which of the angels said He at any time, Thou are my Son, this day have I begotten thee?  And again, I will be to him a Father, and He shall be to me a Son?  And again, when He brought the first begotten into the world, He said, And let all the angels of God worship him.

And of the angels he said, Who made his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.  But unto the Son He said, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of thy kingdom.  Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, has anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning has laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands: they shall perish; but thou shall remain; and they all shall wax old as does a garment; and as a vesture shall thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.  But to which of the angels said He at any time, Sit on my Right Hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?

As it was written by David:  The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my Right Hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool. The Lord shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies. Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.

The Lord hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec. The Lord at thy Right Hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath.  He shall judge among the heathen, He shall fill the places with the dead bodies; He shall wound  the heads of many countries.  He shall drink of the brook in the way: therefore shall He lift up the head.

Therefore, O Zion, seeing then that you have a great High Priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, hold fast to your calling and your faith in the Lord.  For you have not a High Priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
